Early Head Start (Home-Based)

Welcome to San Jacinto Early Head Start (Home-Based)

  • Federally funded program that provides home-based developmentally appropriate instruction for eligible pregnant parents, and children 0 - 3 years of age. The transition to Head Start Preschool can begin at 2.9 years of age but student must be 3 years old at enrollment.
  • Family's income must meet Federal Income Guidelines.
  • Children are admitted into the program based on priority using the Early Head Start Eligibility Criteria.
  • Early Head Start is committed to providing an inclusive environment for all children including those with disabilities.
